Bare Bones Belly Dance will start it's second set of 5-week dance classes the week of February 24th, at Morton Community Center, 222 N. Chauncey, West Lafayette, IN (765-775-5120). All classes run from 7-8:30 p.m. You can call Morton to register any time Monday-Friday 8:30 a.m.- 4:30 p.m.

Monday is the Fast Start Choreography class. This class is for the dancer who has taken a beginner course and would like to learn her first, short, choreography. We'll work this session with a veil to a cut version of the classical song "Ba'eed Anak."
Tuesday is the Basic Drills class. This class is designed for the absolute beginner and provides the basics for belly dance: isolations, safe dance technique, 5 basic movement families, plus some arm paths and traveling steps.
Wednesday is Improvers. This class is ever-changing, sometimes a choreography class, sometimes a technique class, sometimes a cultural class. This session we'll be working with the song "Cairo Storm" and will learn a veil duet that utilizes floor patterns and traveling.
Thursday is the Troupe Readiness class. This class features choreographies used by Troupe Oasis in performances. This session we'll learn a Khaleegy choreography to the song "Ya Sariah."
